How to Spend The Holidays in NYC

Nothing is like NYC during the holiday season. Below are some of my favorite holiday activities in New York City, both with friends and with my daughters!

The Rockefeller Christmas Tree - NYC’s pride and joy, as well as a symbol of the holiday season. Nov 29 - Jan 13

The Winter Village at Bryant Park - Enjoy shops, food kiosks, and ice skating. Oct 27, 2023 - March 3, 2024

Lightscape at The Brooklyn Botanic Garden - This illuminated trail of art from local and international artists, features the iconic Winter Cathedral and is set to over a million lights, color and music. Nov 17, 2023 - Jan 1, 2024.

Visit a Holiday Pop-Up Bar - New York City has plenty of holiday pop-up bars to immerse yourself in the spirit of the season.

Union Square - Union Square is NYC’s ultimate holiday destination! Their local restaurants, retailers, and entertainment venues are ready to help you celebrate the season. Nov. 16 - Dec. 24

The Ice Rink at the Standard High Line Hotel - Every winter, the small plaza of The Standard Hotel turns into an ice rink. Afterwards, have a drink at the bar or visit the rooftop bar Le Bain to enjoy the sunset.

The NYC Ballet’s Nutcracker - This quintessential NYC holiday experience is going on from November 24 to December 31.

Rockettes - The classic NYC spectacular is going on until January 1, 2024.
