Fall Bucket List: NYC vs. Miami

As the weather changes and we welcome fall, both NYC and Miami offer their own take on the season. I’ve pulled together some of my favorite fall activities that are fun for your whole family, as well as for the adults.

NYC: For Your Family

1. Visit Central Park to view the fall leaves.

2. Pumpkin picking at Queens County Farm Museum. Just outside Manhattan!

3. American Museum of Natural History – An indoor activity for cooler days, perfect for kids.

NYC: For Adults

1. Enjoy stunning city views & seasonal cocktails at places like The Skylark or Mr. Purple.

2. Book an evening on Broadway to catch a coveted fall show.

3. Chelsea Art Gallery Tour – Spend an afternoon immersed in contemporary art, followed by a quiet dinner in the Meatpacking District.

Miami: For Your Family

1. Zoo Miami Safari – A world-class zoo where your kids can experience wildlife without leaving the city.

2. Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden – Enjoy activities like the Pumpkin Patch and explore the gardens.

3. Miami Children’s Museum – On cooler or rainy days, this interactive space is perfect to bring your kids.

Miami: For Adults

1. Book a private yacht cruise along Biscayne Bay.

2. Art Basel Preview Events – Miami’s art scene heats up in the fall, and you don’t have to wait for December’s Art Basel to indulge. Seek out gallery openings and private viewings.

3. Cocktail Hour at Le Sirenuse – Enjoy an evening of handcrafted cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired bites in the heart of the Four Seasons Surfside.
