MArket Predictions for my investors

Things to look out for in the next couple of months: Investors will be very active in the NY real estate market. We foresee this coming because of the emerging rental returns, extended tax benefits, and inflation hedging fueling people to relocate their funds out of record equity and crypto markets.

We predict housing shortages to continue in New York City luxury housing market. This is similar to what we have witnessed in other parts of the US. 


For Perspective:  

The number of housing units grew by 7% in the past decade, even while New York City’s adult population grew by 10%. The most prominent shortages in NYC have been in the luxury housing market. This includes homes such as trophy properties that appeal to the super-wealthy.

In most market sectors, the inventory is being absorbed faster than it’s coming on the market. As inventory continues to shrink, prices will continue to rise. The second half of 2021 was recovery; 2022 home prices should continue to grow.
