My January Guide to NYC and Miami

As someone who splits time between the vibrant streets of NYC and the sunny shores of Miami, I truly get the best of both worlds. In Miami, I soak up the calm, rejuvenating energy of beach life, while NYC keeps me energized with its nonstop hustle and excitement. This month, I wanted to share a few of my favorite things to do in each city!

Embracing the Chill in NYC

  1. There’s something magical about Central Park in January. Whether it’s lightly dusted with snow or just chilly and quiet, the park is a sanctuary in the chaos. (Pro tip: grab a hot chocolate from Jacques Torres beforehand!).

  2. Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean rooftop season is over. Head to 230 Fifth or The Skylark for heated igloos with a skyline view.

  3. When it’s too cold to linger outside, the Whitney Museum offers the perfect escape. Their current exhibits dive into contemporary themes that’ll have you thinking long after you leave. (Plus, the Meatpacking District’s cobblestone streets feel extra charming this time of year!)

Soaking Up the Sunshine in Miami

  1. January in Miami means prime beach weather without the summer humidity. South Pointe Park is my go-to for a morning run or sunbathing.

  2. Palm Tree Club has officially become my new favorite waterfront restaurant, whether for its for work meetings or leisure. The tropical decor sets the perfect vibe, plus the menu and drinks always impress.

  3. If you haven’t taken a stroll through Wynwood this month, this is your sign! The murals get a refresh every year during Art Basel, so now is the perfect time to soak in the vibrant creativity while sipping on a cafecito.

Stay tuned for more Miami & NYC recommendations!
