WTF Wednesday: Where to go Apple Picking this weekend.

My family and I moved out to the suburbs of New Jersey in, Summer of 2020. One of the perks of living in the tri-state area is benefiting from all the great outdoor activities. With the fall season here, one of the most popular activities to do is go apple picking. So if you are looking for something to do this weekend, here are a couple of orchards that are family-friendly.

  1. Wightman Farms (Morristown, NJ)

Wightman Farms is one of our favorites! A very family-friendly orchard with lots to choose from. Pick your own apples, corn maze, and hayride. Make sure to pick up your Halloween pumpkins on the way out.

  2. Apple Ridge Orchards (Warwick, NY)

Only 50 mins from Manhattan. An excellent spot for the family to pick apples, pumpkins, a petting zoo, and delicious apple cider donuts.

  1. Greig Farm (Red Hook, NY)

A Hudson Valley gem with an expansive orchard to pick apples. Parents will enjoy the abandoned cider outpost.

Let me know if you go to any of these.
