WTF WEdnesday: What to do in Lincoln square

Over the last couple of years I have found myself in the Lincoln Square neighborhood a number of times. Lincoln Square resides between West 57th and West 72nd Streets, the Hudson River and Central Park. Formerly known as San Juan Hill, this neighborhood was revitalized with the construction of the Lincoln Center cultural hub. I decided to put together some of my favorite spots in the area:

• Where to Grab a Slice: Noi Due Pizza

  • This new addition to the Noi Due restaurants is located at West 84th Street. They serve both round and grandma style pizzas. If you’re looking for a snack to tide yourself over, you can pick up a slice of either!

• Best Date Spot: Tuscany Steakhouse

  • The ultimate destination for steaks, seafood and wine lovers- perfect for date night! Relax at their cozy and unique bar, and enjoy cocktails and fine wines from around the world. Located at 17 W 58th St.

• Where to Have a Glass of Wine: Vanguard Wine Bar

  • Located on Amsterdam Avenue, this neighborhood bar features an impressive list of wines organized by flavor to make choosing your glass simple and fun!
    

• Where to Grocery Shop: Morton Williams

  • Only a 2 minute walk from 1 West End Avenue, Morton Williams is a family owned and operated store that has all the fresh essentials.
