Why? Live? There? : Roosevelt Island
Welcome to the first segment of my blog called Why? Live? There? I will highlight different Manhattan neighborhoods and the lifestyle that goes with it. Hey! you never know I may influence your next move...
Today I am sharing a favorite neighborhood of mine, Roosevelt Island. Three years ago I was given the opportunity to sell the recently renovated sponsor units at Island House. The development of Island House was one of the first projects I had the opportunity to re-market, take over sales for and partnered with Erica Sachse, and her company Snaplistings. The marriage between us brought a lot of positive things to the market on the Island. We Were able to drive the SEO by 688% and I was able to produce 6 sales in 6 months. Erica and I had unlocked the secret sauce.
And from there on out I fell in love with the Island. It’s a quick 90 second trip on the F train from Manhattan, or my girls favorite mode of transportation: the tram from midtown east only a 5 minute ride. However, when you get to RI, you will find a tranquil lifestyle. Morning coffee, daily groceries and the school run are easy. Plus you have more spaces to stroll, run and bike. RI is a perfect place for those looking to get more space and or raise a family. The New York Post recently wrote an article on how popular Roosevelt Island has gotten. I have linked the article here so you can take a look for yourself.
Island House living offers full time doorman, central/multi-floor laundry rooms, bike room, access to fitness center, pool, community room, playrooms, newly renovated hallways, cable ready, common courtyard, high speed internet and package room. Pied-a-terres and co-purchasing are welcomed. Sponsor unit. No board package or coop board approval. These are some of my favorite listings:
